Heritage Weekly for 10/29/09

Dear Brethren,

Quick reminder:  This Sunday is also the day Daylight Saving Time ends.  So don’t forget to set your clock back an hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

In God’s providence, we’ll begin meeting at our new location this Sunday, November 1st.  The elders thought it would be helpful to share some of the stipulations of our agreement with Kaneland School District:

• We are only authorized to use two rooms currently: the cafetorium and room 451
    — There are many hallways and places for children to get out of sight
• We have the facility from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. currently.  They would like us to be out around 1 p.m.
    — We will have the facility until 2:30 p.m. on fellowship meal days
• They actually included a clause in the contract that states we will leave the facility in condition for student and school activities.
    — We will need to make sure tables and chairs are put back where they belong
    — We will need to dust mop following service before we put tables and chairs back
    — The contract states that if we fail to keep things clean they have the right to require a janitor come in at overtime rates
    — The cost for the school is very good, but will quickly become very expensive if we don’t keep it tidy
• I am confident that we will do great.
    — The Waubonsee staff reiterated that we had been a very good tenant the past three years

Harter Middle School is just West of HWY-47 on Harter Road.  We will be using the Student entrance which is around back of the school.  We should have signs to help us find where we should go.

We will be getting there early (9:30 a.m.) in order to work out getting set up.  There will be no teaching time on Sunday so we can get organized for service.
