Retirement Home

We have found that a very productive family-based ministry is visiting the elderly in retirement homes. They are very receptive to visits from all ages and just showing up with children is ministering to their needs. In addition, many homes allow hymn singing and prayer meetings. We have even held informal worship services.

We take our children along and allow them to participate in ministering to those whose lives are nearing the end. They get to see the trials of old age and what it means to serve others.
