Kelsey Konrad

“I am 21 years old, and the third oldest of 13 children.  I grew up in Sierra Leone, when my parents were missionaries working with Bible Translation.  We lived there 8 years, and were evacuated twice because of the war that erupted.  After the war ended I felt that God was calling me to go back to Sierra Leone to help war orphans.  I knew the Nelsons, which is how I got involved with International DOVE and I have been with DOVE for almost a year now.  I oversee the children’s home, teach in the school, and take care of medical issues as they arise.  I very much enjoy working with the children of Sierra Leone, both in the orphanage and also in the community.”
