What’s the Big Deal? Why is the church so important?

Series: 1 Timothy

Paul spends nearly two chapters telling Timothy how things are to be done in the church. The question is why does he spend so much time on this? Why is it so important?

Paul gets to the answer of this question in today’s passage. Not only why he writes, but what is so important about the church. We see three reasons in the text: 1) The Character of the church, 2) The Charge (mission) of the church, and 3) The Core (message) of the church.
