A Good Servant’s Discipline

Series: 1 Timothy

In today’s text, Paul writes to Timothy how he can go about being a good servant of Christ Jesus. While this instruction was originally intended for Timothy there is much we can learn about being a good servant in these verses.

Specifically we see three characteristics of a good servant. First, a good servant undergoes disciplined training. Second, the good servant of Christ puts his training into practice. Finally, a good servant vigilantly monitors his own conduct and teaching.
