Rom 4:17-25 The Nature of Saving Faith

We’ve talked about the importance of faith…that it is instrumental in our salvation. Paul even states in Rom 4:16 that “it depends on faith” with the “it” being our righteousness.

Since it’s so important it is legitimate to say “What exactly does this faith look like?” As Paul wraps up his use of Abraham as an example of salvation by faith apart from works he gives us a description of Abraham’s faith. Since those who are of faith are children of Abraham we can learn what our faith should look like from examining Abraham’s faith.
